Gio Armchair
The Gio armchairs are dedicated to Gio Ponti, one of the most important Italian architects and designers of the 20th century. The idea stems from a fabric-covered seat that is ‘suspended’ thanks to legs made of solid wood. The seat can be coupled with a back, in high or low versions, with integrated armrests. This interlocking of the legs, seat and backs, with their studied proportions and simple yet refined design, is the distinguishing feature of these armchairs that are suitable for both residential and public spaces.
This armchair offers the flexibility to be customized with a selection of upholstery fabric brands in collaboration with Passerini, as well as exclusive leather options. Additionally, for more complex projects, it can be tailored to your preferences with Customer Own Materials (COM / COL).
Finish:
Unpholstered chair with wood frame and feet.
Seat and back filling: polyurethane foam in multiple densities.
Upholstered in fabric or leather; it comes standard with welt detail. Due to the radius shape, fabrics may develop some creases on the back, particularly satins, silks and taffetas. In general large patterns, stripes or ottoman fabrics are not recommended.
