How to Choose Poufs and Ottomans
Height. As a footrest, poufs and ottomans should sit at or slightly below seat height.
Use. Firm tops work as extra seats or tables. On the other hand, softer ones are more comfortable under the feet.
Pairs. Two poufs in front of a fireplace or under a console add seating without blocking the view. Moreover, they move easily when guests arrive.
