How to Choose Desks for Your Home Office
Size. As a guide, desks of at least 55 inches (140 cm) wide leave room for a screen and papers. Executive desks, on the other hand, often reach 80 inches (200 cm) or more.
Layout. A sectional desk with a return creates an L-shape, which is useful if you work with two screens. In contrast, a freestanding desk in the middle of the room makes a strong statement and faces visitors.
Materials. Leather and wood tops are warm to the touch, whereas lacquer and glass are easier to clean. In addition, ask about cable management when you request a quote.
