House at Chelsea Harbour
LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM
This London interior design project is the complete refurbishment and restoration of a 7,100 sq ft Grade II listed townhouse in Chelsea, together with its connecting mews house. Led by Sophia Passerini, our interior design studio transformed the house while respecting its historic character. In fact, we designed and curated every interior architectural detail and finish.
Restoring a Grade II Listed Chelsea Townhouse
First, we restored the classic paneled walls, cornices and herringbone parquet floors. Then we added the comforts of modern life. The house now includes a pool, a fully equipped gym and a private cinema, so it blends classic charm with everyday ease. Outside, we created two garden spaces that offer calm in the middle of the city.
Bespoke Furniture and Styling
The true essence of this home lies in its bespoke furniture and styling. Our designers worked with skilled artisans to handcraft pieces that suit each room. For example, a sculpted marble coffee table, a round dining table with curved chairs and a slim brass-framed desk sit against the pale paneled walls. As a result, the interiors feel elegant and personal, and they reflect the homeowner’s taste.
In short, this London interior design project shows our passion for preserving historic architecture while adding modern comfort. See more of our work in the portfolio, or contact our studio to talk about your own home.
